Disbelieving Jews

Many Gentile Christians believe they are at the end of the church age. They believe... the greatest prophetic event in history, the rapture of the church is that one final event! Is this what you believe?   -    What is that remaining prophetic event unfulfilled?

     Moses prophesied the (unfulfilled) event of which I speak, and it is recorded

in the books of Deuteronomy and Romans:

     They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God;

     They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols.

     But I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are

     not a nation; I will move them to anger by a foolish nation (Deuteronomy 32:21).

     Not a nation and a foolish nation may well apply to any nation of Moses’ day not observing God’s commands, statutes, and covenants. By observing this text, and the way it is used by Paul in the New Testament, we might argue that by application, the United States fits a nation that is not a nation—The USA is not a single ethnic people group, therefore not a nation.

     In addition to the first part of the above scripture, the second part is now becoming most interesting. Have we not observed the direction that the liberal movements and the federal government have been taking the United States? I think we may now qualify as “a foolish nation,” notice once more, a nation (foolish)—one that is practicing less and less allegiance to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob .

Moses says:

     “I will provoke you to jealousy by those who are not a nation,

     I will move you to anger by a foolish nation” (Romans 10:19).

     With the Bible claims revealed in the Tabernacle book having their roots in the Gentile camp, our view, albeit from a sliver group of evangelicals, has essentially brought these views over into the Protestant Christian community. You can see how this might make the various Jewish communities angry and jealous of what we now possess (a working tabernacle) out of their own past. “I will move you to anger by a foolish nation.”

     Very long ago the Jewish race established, by its types, a relationship with God. They had, more or less, under their command God’s vessel for moving close to Him upon a spiritual sea, the tabernacle/temple. After Titus destroyed the temple and temple worship in AD 70, most Jews believed they had lost the atoning instrument of mercy and thus they have been floundering for centuries for a way back to God. God, the designer of this vessel, has taken back control and turned the helm over to Christian believers who have been sealed with the blood of the Holy Christ.

     The way to God continues to be by way of blood sacrifice, no longer a type but a truth in fact. The way is cleared for Moses’ and Paul’s prophecy to be fulfilled. We shall find that the understanding and the proclaiming of these truths removes our last prophetic obstacle.

     The Deliverer will come out of Zion,

     And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

     For this is My covenant with them,

     When I take away their sins (Romans 11:26–27).

     Jesus Christ is come into believers by Holy blood smeared upon Jews, Gentile Protestants, and Catholics alike. When Jesus Christ shed His blood for our sin, by anticipation, God allowed the old Covenant and tabernacle/temple worship to continue simultaneous with his new covenant from Christ's death until A.D.70 when it finally ceased. The New Covenant replaced daily animal sacrifice upon a man-made altar while continuing to apply God’s sacrifice upon the altar not made with hands. Our hearts are His throne room, therefore prophecy is fulfilled concerning “the throne of His Kingdom forever.” (2 Samuel 7:12-13, Acts 15:16-17)

     According to the law almost all things are purified with

     blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission

     (Hebrews 9:22).

     For a few decades after the death of Jesus, God allowed the Jewish community to hear the message of the Messiah, the Christ, the one anointed from the Holy. The apostles gave freely the message of truth that God would not refuse to provide a way into His presence.

     This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout

     your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting

     before the Lord, where I will meet you to speak

     with you (Exodus 29:42).

   His words are clear as we read: “Blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved...” (Romans 11:25b–26a).

     Because the Bible speaks the truth that “no one comes unto the Father except through [Jesus Christ],” the rabbinical prayers for atoning of sin—the Amadah—are never acknowledged by God. The sad reality is that most of our Jewish friends do not understand this truth. If they would just read and study these key elements in the Old Testament and the New Testament, they would find truth, and it would be clear to this chosen race. The Scripture tells us that though they call out to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, He will not turn toward them!

     Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.

     No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
