Ark of the Covenant

I will meet with you between the two cherubim

(Exodus 25:22)

Inside the Holy of Holies we find...the Ark of the Covenant. The ark was a wood box overlaid with hammered gold. This vehicle was...the adjudicator... Power and truth from the spirit world was often manifest through the application of its mysteries into the physical world. ...Joshua, David and others ... efforts were magnified by God through this instrument... this was not an ordinary box resting within the Holy of Holies.

Atop the ark is the mercy seat, with two cherubim, one piece of hammered out gold.  For some fifteen hundred years, blood was sprinkled atop this ark’s mercy seat because of sin. ... the top of your head forms an antitype—for the lid of the ark of the covenant. The mercy seat, the lid atop the ark is a type God had shown Moses to teach His children Holiness, and forgiveness so that they might come near to Him.

The cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be (Exodus 25:20, NKJV).

Thus, every person who is saved and is indwelt by the HolySpirit is “in the Spirit.” (W)e are not talking of some method of getting into the Spirit as much as living out the truth that we are already “in.” This discussion concerns a method of realizing that one is in the Spirit and the power derived from acting on that fact. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesying(s). Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:19–22, KJV).
